This is a series of letterpress typographic compositions I made during a H.N Werkman workshop at Lead Graffiti in Newark, Delaware. I hand rolled ink onto wood and metal type and glyphs and then printed them on the various types of printing presses that Lead Graffiti had to offer. As a creative challenge, my instructor from DCAD limited us to three colors: red, black, and silver. I enjoyed the creative process of hand rolling ink onto each letter and glyph and being able to feel the weight of the press pushing the letters into the paper, leaving a beautiful imprint along with unique ink textures.
